Niagara announces that vaccination site for Grimsby will be the Niagara West YMCA
Niagara’s mayors, in partnership with Regional Chair Jim Bradley, are announcing the planned locations of the community’s COVID-19 mass vaccination clinics.
Once vaccine supply is available, the following 11 locations have been identified as clinic sites:
- Fort Erie - Leisure Plex
- Grimsby - YMCA
- Lincoln - Community Centre
- Niagara-on-the-Lake - Community Centre
- Niagara Falls - MacBain Community Centre
- Pelham - Meridian Community...

Public Service Announcement: Army training on area roads this weekend
This is a shared Public Service Announcement from the National Defense / Canadian Armed Forces:
From March 6-7, 2021, Canadian Army Reserve personnel from 31 Service Battalion - Hamilton Support Company will be conducting convoy training in the Hamilton, Burlington and Grimsby areas. Activities will include convoy drills on planned routes and around Canadian Forces Reserve Barracks (CFRB) Hamilton at 650 Catharine Street North, Hamilton.

Grimsby Preparing to Move to the Red/Control Level of Ontario’s COVID-19 Framework
Effective Monday March 1st 2021, the Niagara Region will be moving out of Grey/Lockdown and into the Red/Control Level of Ontario’s COVID-19 Response Framework.
Some key changes related to the Red/Control level include:
- Limits for all organized public events and social gatherings, where physical distancing can be maintained:
- 5 people indoors
- 25 people outdoors
