Class Visits / Tours

Visit us

Who can come?

We invite all Grimsby elementary and high schools to bring their classes to the Grimsby Public Library to learn more about how the library works and what we do. Library tours are available for all grade levels.

Why visit the Grimsby Public Library?

Our aim is to educate future generations about the function of a Library in the community, while providing an all around fun learning experience.

What happens during a Library visit?

Library tours can range from a general introduction to the library, highlighting key areas and services, to an interactive exploration of a topic of your choice.

...or we can come to you!

Is your school hosting an event? Do you need representatives from community organizations to attend? Contact us and we'll discuss staff member participation. We'll also come to your classroom to do fun, themed story times, career days, and judge school events. Just ask!
