Grimsby Parks and Open Spaces
There are many parks, sports fields, open spaces and other facilities in the Town of Grimsby.
Some parks and facilities require a permit for use, particularly for an organized function.
If you need a permit or notice a concern at a particular park you can contact the Recreation Department at 905-945-1288.

Enjoy stunning panoramic views of Grimsby and Lake Ontario from four lookouts along the Lookout Trail. The trail will also lead you to the 23-metre Upper Beamer Falls over the Escarpment. In the spring, be sure to check out the unique Hawk Migration that occurs along the Niagara Escarpment. To get to Beamer Memorial Conservation Area, take Mountain Street to the top of the Escarpment, then turn right on Ridge Road, go 1.6 km to Quarry Road and proceed to the parking lot on the right.
On the outskirts of Grimsby, this 80 hectare park is a great place to spend the day with your family! Fifty Point offers camping and marina facilities if you plan to stay longer than a day. Have a picnic, do some fishing, take a stroll on the beach or do some bird watching. Click here for more information. To get to Fifty Point, takes the North Service Road to to Winston Road, which will turn in to Baseline Road just before the entrance to the park.

Forty Creek Park / 1812 Peace Garden
Take a stroll along the beach, play a game on the beach volleyball court or have fun on the playground equipment at this beautiful lakeside park! Located at the corner of Nelles Road North and Lake Street (access to the parking lot off Lake St.)
Peach King Centre
The Peach King Centre is a hive of activity year round, with 2 indoor ice rinks, raquetball courts, fitness centre, auditoium, a Splashpad, outdoor skating rink and a mini soccer field. In the winter check out a Peach Kings game, our Champion Junior C hockey team! the Peach King Centre is home to Grimsby's Recreation Department, so drop by if you're looking for something to do!
